Two large chemical firms—Braskem and Covestro—have secured supplies of recycled raw materials. Braskem has signed an agreement with Shell, which will supply propylene derived from mixed plastic waste. Braskem will use the propylene at its polypropylene plant in Wesseling, Germany.
